About Our Designations

Managing & Senior Partner

Partners are the most senior lawyers in the firm. They hold equity and management responsibility within K. Mwale and Company, oversee client relationships, supervise legal teams, and are ultimately responsible for the quality of the firm’s work.

Senior Associate

Senior Associates are experienced qualified lawyers who have demonstrated a high level of technical expertise and client service capability. They handle complex matters with a degree of autonomy and play a key role in mentoring junior members of the team.

Associate

Associates are qualified lawyers who work on a range of matters under the supervision of senior practitioners. They bring energy, intellectual rigour, and a commitment to learning and development, forming the backbone of our legal delivery team.

Lawyer

Lawyers are legal professionals who support our qualified practitioners on research, drafting, and client work. They are developing the practical experience and skills needed to progress to associate level within the firm.

Legal Admin

Our Legal Admin team provides essential support across the firm, handling documentation, case management, client liaison, and office operations. They ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our practice and are integral to our service delivery.
